Why do iiiiii have the juice now, you ask? ((how my blog came to be))

Like I stated before, I needed a place to write. I was in desperate need to start because I had so many things to say, but like anything someone brings in this world, you have to name it. For weeks I pined over a name and I felt like Yanni's Blog" was a complete cop out. Since I'm a very broad and random person, I wanted to speak to  my Gemini-ness... and the first thing that came to mind was the Dean in How High saying "how charrrrmingly ghetto." And from there I was on a mission. I had to find a name that would live up to par... at first I made a list of things like Champagne and Sunflower Seeds, Class with a Bus Pass and the all time favorite Linen and Lace Fronts but I felt like there'd be something more (plus I have my own feelings about helmet hair).

Finally, I started to ask friends and I got more than plenty, especially from one of my dearest (and silliest) friends, Von, DJ and Marissa. Here's SOME of the names that didn't make the cut! (There were wayyyy too many and I'm probably going to use the other ones for topics soon!)

Welcome all :)

My name is Yanni and this is is my first attempt to consolidate all my writings, thoughts, opinions, loves, likes and dislikes all in one place. Since writing is going to be a big part of my life, I decided I need to start somewhere... and why not with the few things I DO know about instead of Herman Melville and what other people think he was trying to portray through blah blah blah.

I'm going to be covering a lot of random things because life has too much to offer to just talk about one thing. First I wanted to use this to talk about my hair, but if "I am not my hair" why would I only talk about that?! Plus... YouTube pretty much has that covered. That's why when I decided to name this blog... well I'll leave that for another post (lol loooong story). I hope you all enjoy. More to come soon!
